Our Newspaper The Hellenic Calendar, the monthly newspaper for the Greek-American community of Southern California and the Great Southwest, originally published from 1979 to 1991, resumed publication with its June 2004 issue. Once again, we cover news of special interest to our readers, such as news from local Greek Orthodox communities, the AHEPA Family, Greek regional societies, cultural groups and many other Greek-American institutions. We feature interviews with prominent Americans of Greek descent, articles on Greek-American history and some surprises. Each month, our newspaper has a minimum press run of 10,000 copies. Although we will mail about 4,000 copies of each issue, most copies are distributed free at Greek Churches, restaurants, import stores and events in our area. Subscription Information To subscribe (in the U.S.), simply send an address and a check for $25 ($35US for Canada) for each 12-month subscription to us at: The Hellenic Calendar
